Content: Meets the training requirements of NFPA Standard 1041. The NFPA Instructor 1 / Distance Learning Program is a 32 hour instructor development course. A pre-assignment will need to be completed prior to class. The assignment is now accessible on line at http://fireinstructor1.com/fire/ KEEP IN MIND: YOU MUST CONTACT DPSST, VIA THE ABOVE LINK, AT LEAST 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE START OF CLASS TO GET YOUR PASSWORD (SO YOU CAN ACCESS THE ONLINE ASSIGNMENT). THIS ASSIGNMENT MUST BE COMPLETE PRIOR TO CLASS! Students will then spend 16 hours in a classroom setting. Lastly students will be required to complete the DPSST NFPA Instructor 1 task book at their dept.
