This is the DPSST approved Maritime Fire Service Boat Operator series.  The curriculum can be taught in whole or in parts and spans the Awareness through the Rescue Boat certification.   The course content well exceeds the core DPSST requirements for each level presented and includes a significant amount of additional practical applications garnered from actual rescue boat operations.    

Marine Experience LLC has been in business since 1998 and has taught hundreds of public safety officers, wildlife officials and private personnel the art of boat operations and rescue boat operations.  The curriculum is specifically tailored to teach agency based upon their watercraft type, response areas and team make-up.  Marine Experience specializes in swiftwater boat operations and has successfully completed numerous training contracts with local and federal agencies.  Examples of some of past contract agencies are City of Spokane Fire, Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue, City of Hillsboro, City of Salem Fire Department, City of Lake Oswego Fire, Vancouver Fire, Gresham Emergency Services and United State Department of Agriculture.
