Chief Phillips is an active responder with the Oregon State Fire Marshal's Office Incident Management Teams as a Type II Deputy Operations Section Chief and is assigned as a Type I Safety Officer trainee with Mike Morcom's Pacific Northwest National Incident Management Team. Currently Chief Phillips serves as the Hillsboro Fire Department’s Deputy Chief of Administration and has 15 years experience in Oregon Haz-Mat Teams. Phillips participates in the Metro Fire Safety Officer’s & Oregon Safety Officer's Association. Chief Phillips Joined Hillsboro Fire & Rescue in October of 2005 and brings with him more than 32 years of fire service experience. Chief Phillips has held the positions of Firefighter, Investigator, Lieutenant, Captain, Battalion Chief, and Assistant Chief. |
